Flutter Internship

Core Requirements (must-have)

  • Flutter/Dart basics: ability to build UI screens, handle state, and navigate between pages.

  • Firebase integration (basic level):

    • Authentication (Google/Email sign in)

    • Firestore (create/read/update/delete data)

    • Firebase Storage (uploading images/files)

Git/GitHub familiarity: can clone repos, branch, commit, push/pull, resolve small conflicts.

Nice-to-Have (good learning goals for intern)

  • State management tools (Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc).

  • Firebase Cloud Functions basics (for small bits of backend logic).

  • Push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).

  • UI/UX sense: comfortable implementing Figma designs or improving screens.

What you should look for in the intern

  • Curiosity & learning speed (they may not know everything, but should show they can Google + solve).

  • Ability to follow coding patterns you set, not just hack together code.

Example responsibilities

  • Build event creation + listing UI in Flutter.

  • Hook up Firebase authentication and store user data.

  • Implement Firestore collections for activities, participants, and expenses.

  • Create simple expense tracking form (with validation).

  • Write documentation for setup (so others can run the app).
